Dumela! I’m Phemo, a Setswana author and language guide from Botswana. With 3 published novels and my practical books "Learn Setswana and English- Setswana Dictionary" (available on Amazon), I specialize in making this beautiful language accessible to all levels. My lessons blend cultural richness with real-world usage—whether you’re mastering greetings or crafting fluent sentences. As a certified TEFL teacher, I adapt to your goals, ensuring learning feels joyful, not daunting. Let’s turn your curiosity into confidence, one word at a time!教学经验
I am a loyal and honest person, always punctual and very patient. I understand that learning a language is not easy especially when it comes to pronouncing words. I would help you with the pronunciation skills and teach you new vocabulary so that you speak beautiful Setswana.
I am friendly and have sense of humour therefore having fun when learning gives me the satisfaction that the students enjoys the lessons and this will develop passion to learn and grow.
I enjoy teaching both children and adults.
I allow my students to express themselves without fear of being judged. They are allowed to make mistakes and the mistakes are corrected with love 我提供的课程和我的教学风格
I believe that each student is different and I like to adapt my teaching style based on the student needs. Classes are customised based on the students needs.
If the student wants only to practice speaking Setswana we concentrate on having conversations. I listen to the student weaknesses and we focus on improving until the student masters the concept they struggle with.

I really enjoyed every single lesson with Phemo. She was always very encouraging and motivated me to keep learning a little every day between our sessions. She came prepared with materials from her own learning resources and always asked about my specific goals to adjust the lessons accordingly and even prepared extra materials. The lessons were a great mix of some vocabulary and grammar, but mostly focused on speaking and pronunciation.
