Helo! I’m a native Welsh speaker from Bangor, Gwynedd, now living in Tbilisi, Georgia. I’ve always loved languages and cultural exchange, and I currently work as an online English teacher. Teaching and learning languages are a big part of my life, and I enjoy helping adult learners feel more confident using Welsh in real, everyday situations. I’m friendly, patient, and I love supporting learners as they grow more comfortable speaking Cymraeg naturally. As a teacher, I focus on building confidence and fluency through relaxed, conversation-based lessons. My goal is to make Welsh practical, enjoyable, and accessible for adult learners — no pressure, just steady progress. I adapt my approach to each student and bring over 10 years’ experience as a qualified TEFL teacher, including teaching English online, to make sure lessons are clear, structured, and encouraging. Living abroad myself, I understand the challenges of using another language in daily life, and I aim to create a supportive space where learners feel comfortable making mistakes and speaking naturally. I’m a Welsh tutor passionate about helping learners grow their confidence in speaking Cymraeg. My lessons are practical and conversation-based - perfect for anyone from A1 to C2. Many thanks Bryan for a really enjoyable and useful first lesson today, you gave me the opportunity to use and practise language I know already in our conversation and guided me with new vocabulary and constructions so I could develop my ability. Speaking a new language face to face is pretty intense but you made it enjoyable and relaxed with the support you provided, I really appreciate it and am looking forward to our next adventure!

Bryan creates a very friendly and supportive learning environment. In class, he used a set of questions in Cymraeg to get to know each other, which made speaking practice feel natural and engaging. I was able to share that I’m learning Welsh because of my partner from Caergybi, as well as talk about what I enjoy and what I’d like to do in the future. He is incredibly helpful at keeping conversations flowing—gently filling in the gaps when I get stuck and encouraging me to keep going. His approach makes speaking Welsh feel much less intimidating and much more enjoyable. A fantastic teacher who really builds confidence. Diolch yn fawr!

Bryan was fun and engaging. He helped me relax quickly in my first lesson talking with a native Welsh speaker during my first lesson. I was mostly surprised at how much I already knew and was grateful for the additional practice, vocabulary, and correction.
