Attualmente (agosto 2024) ho concluso più di 500 lezioni, grazie! Il mio stile di insegnamento si adatta ai bisogni e agli interessi dello studente. Ho sempre voluto insegnare e mi impegno a fondo per aiutare chi vuole apprendere l'italiano. In this moment (August 2024) I taught more than 500 lesssons, thanks to my students! My teaching style is tailored on the students' needs. I always wanted to teach and I am doing my best to help who wants to learn Italian.

On Italki, I’ve met students aged 9 to 93 — each one left a precious mark on my heart. I’m very adaptable and flexible, and I easily adjust to each student’s needs, having already had the chance to teach people of different age groups. My short-term goal is to share my love for the Italian language and culture and help students achieve results starting from the very first lesson. What my passion for foreign languages has taught me is the importance of making mistakes, learning through conversation and real-life situations (which are often very different from what’s written in textbooks). It’s all part of the journey we carry with us in the learning process. I’m cheerful, positive, and I believe in each one of you! (If I could do it, anyone can!)

Ho conseguito la laurea magistrale in lingua e cultura italiane per stranieri presso l' università di Bologna. Adesso sto frequentando un master di secondo livello in "Teoria, progettazione e didattica dell'italiano come lingua seconda e straniera" presso l'università di Palermo. Ho esperienze di insegnamento della lingua italiana, francese e inglese sia in ambito privato che pubblico. Mi piace spiegare, trovare modi diversi per trasmettere regole e contenuti linguistici e credo soprattutto che l'insegnamento sia un processo cooperativo che avviene tra insegnante e studenti.

So I can help you if you are starting from scratch, but I also love teaching intermediate or advanced students. I was trained as an Italian teacher for foreign students at Venice University, where I obtained the CEDILS diploma in 2017, after having volunteered in a school. I'm very familiar with language learning too: I learnt Spanish in Seville, where I studied as an Erasmus student, and I'm improving my French. For my English I relied on one-to-one online lessons: I think it's the best method to improve quickly and to become fluent wherever you are in the world!

I’ve taught hundreds of students over the past years and the most important thing I’ve discovered is that we tend to avoid real "learning" by doing exercising which give us an illusion of competence and make us lose a lot of time and as a consequence thereof we tend to get frustrated and soon after we are likely to give up. I think, this is one of the main reasons of our failure in language acquisition. I believe, one of the best remedy to this problem is that the teacher and the student learn together and since real “learning” is tiring, we don’t have much time at our disposal due to the activities of daily living, I developed a method that is effective and efficient at the same time.

My goal is to help you speak fluently, in each lesson you will receive personalised exercises and a document with all the corrections made during our lesson. I can also help you prepare for the IELTS examination.

I have started teaching Italian when I was in China and I had to learn to teach to students whose mother tongue was completely different from mine, both in the grammar structure and the pronunciation. Despite these difficulties I found out I really enjoyed teaching Italian and my students surprised me with their progression!
