So even though I didn’t get to study English or travel outside of Japan as a child, I loved watching movies and TV shows in English and dreamed of adventuring around the world on my own, using English to make it possible. I’ve taught English at a Japanese cram school for junior and senior high school students for 2 years, and worked in childcare where I encouraged young learners to use English in daily activities. I also volunteered to teach English at a local kindergarten.
