Neighbors best qualities. (Trying) formal style.

Living in a community is one of the main features in of any neighborhood. Unless we are residing in an isolated house in the middle of the countryside, we all have experienced how living besides alongside others is. Regardless of what kind of residence we live – a flats neighborhood is not similar at all to a duplex one – neighbors might  can be our best friends or our worst nightmare. This text studies the main features that our dreamed neighbor must possess.

In this sense, If respect is considered the main pillar of any social relationship, needless to say it includes the relations between the neighbors. Therefore, there are several rules that assure a perfect coexistence, such as avoiding making excessive noise-making, above all during the sleeping time hours and maintaining hygienic conditions, especially in the common areas; yet however, these rules are not always complied with. This is a missed opportunity for when creating community links ties among the neighbors, keeping in mind that all of them working together may well improve their neighborhood community. For instance, I live near a strong neighbors community of neighbors which has attained reached enough power to voice place their demands directly in the city hall. This means that a strong sense of community could easily build a high platform from which then voices can then be heard in order to reap the best living conditions for every resident.

This totally contrasts with most of the neighborhoods at present presently. People there do not really know each other; in fact, many of them are just unaware of their fellow residents´ names. This is not a blissful situation (if you want to use blissful as a play on the expression "ignorance is bliss," you should say something like "this ignorance is not blissful" or something... if not, it's an odd word choice), since people are increasingly changing to a more individual lifestyle.

In summary, it is necessary to raise awareness about our decreasing comunity sense of community. Personally, I live in a small town where everyone knows and has a good relationship with each other; a situation that, in my opinion, enriches our lives, in my opinion.

Both of them can be used to mean "raise" or "elevate" something, but "pick up" usually means to "lift" something that is sitting on the ground or another flat surface... Also, "lift" is used with heavy objects whereas "pick up" is not (i.e. you lift weights at the gym but do not pick them up).

1. Own is less formal and more common than possess.. we use the noun form "possession" a lot more. 2. Fast is less formal and more common than rapid, and rush is a verb used to mean "hurry." We use the adverb form of rapid (rapidly) more often than the adjective. 3. Shine is a verb and bright is an adjective used to describe things that shine.

While you should technically say "a cup of milk tea," milk tea being a non-count noun, we often say "a milk tea," "a small milk tea," etc. these days. This seems to happen more in take-away situations.

Book club

If somebody told you you look fat in general, you'd probably say "Someone told me I look fat." If somebody told you you looked fat on a certain day or in a specific dress or something, you'd probably say "Someone told me I looked fat (in that dress)." But I don't think most people would notice the difference.
