Merci beaucoup Davi. Ce qui est bien avec les élèves à long terme, c’est qu’on assiste à leur progression dans la langue. Ton éventail sémantique s’élargit beaucoup plus et tu sembles maîtriser la syntaxe. Félicitations!! Hâte de lire ton prochain texte (fait avec soin)! :)

    My favourite polyglot is my brother. He managed to learn 7 languages at a B2+ level. If today I can speak 4 languages and am going for my fifth, it is because he inspired and showed me that a monolingual life is boring and completely hard to live when you’re no anglophone.

    Hello! My name is Davi and I’m from Brazil. Today, I’m here to tell you a bit of my experience as for when and how I fell in love with language learning! In 2018, I went abroad and came across language barrier for the first time(I visited 6 countries in Europe). The people who were travelling with me could speak more than one language whilst me, I could only speak my native language (Portuguese). Even tho I loved the trip, the bilingual people got to enjoy it much more than me. Not being able to speak English made me feel extremely bad, I felt like I was missing an arm or a leg! So when I came back to my country, I decided that I was going to learn English. After that, I fell in love with English and language learning. Today, thanks to that trip, I have a C1 level in English, B2 level in French and B1 level in italian. I equally want to learn German and Chinese. I’m also a Portuguese tutor on Italki 🥰 So that’s it haha, bye bye guys!

    Hi everybody! I’m considering starting learning German at the end of this year, and I have a question if it is no bother. Is there any difference between German and Austrian German? I saw that some teachers from Austria here on Italki have a nicer price but I have no idea how different it is from Standard as I don’t understand anything 😅, if anyone could help, I’d be very grateful.

    pray on/over é orar sobre, porém eu não usaria isso(e nunca vi ninguém usando), eu diria "pray for" pray through é algo mais intenso, tipo quando trazes algo na presença de Deus.

    Hello guys, how are you? I have a question if it is no bother. After the word “research”, do I have to use any preposition? Like “I do some research on/about the country” or just “I research the country” Thanks very much for your help.
