In my country, a new boby usually stay at hospital for one week are borning, because doctors will give the boby a check up and inject some vaccines. Meanwhile the mother need to be treat well at hospital until their bodies work well. Then the monther and boby will be pick up home. The grandparents usually burn some grass or others things in a pot when the boby arrives home. Then the mother holds the boby and go cross the fire. They believe that the fire can keep all the bad luck far away from the boby.
