Danilo, It was very nice to meet you today. You did well on the grammar exercises as well as the reading about the Earth and learning the new vocabulary words in context. You worked very hard on your writing sample and it shows good organization and development. You also did well on the restaurant dialogue and the other speaking activity.     Minha melhor amiga

    Nos conhecemos no trabalho muitos anos atrás. Trabalhávamos num hospital numa enfermaria pediátrica. Não brigamos. Nós temos os passatempos similares. Ela gosta de fazer crochê e pilates enquanto eu gosto de tricotar e yoga. Ela é ótima. Podemos falar sobre tudo e fazemos muito. Às vezes nós almoçamos, compramos roupa e maquiagem, dirijamos sem um objetivo, contamos histórias do passado e falamos sobre o que está acontecendo nos nossos empregos. Nossas mentes são similares como quando encontráramos que nós temos feito as mesmas coisas no dia.

    How I use Though in the end of the sentences Hi there, I have a doubt about how I can use the word though in the end of the sentences. I know the meaning of the word like although synonym, but in the end of the sentences I'm not feel safe to use it . Does anyone can explain to me the meaning? Thanks a lot!

    My Host Family Experience

    In two thousand and twelve, I have been in San Diego - United States for ten weeks in order to improve my english skills. I studied in a english course in Brazil for one year before I take this trip and was a great experience and I will keep in memory forever.
    However, I had some issues in the city. My first four weeks in the city I lived in a host family who treated me like a son. Every time they were willing to help me out about any doubt. Nevertheless, the house was far away my school and this situation was bothering me. Then I decided moved on to other host family nearby my school and consequentely downtown, after two weeks.
    My new host family was the opposite. They didn't care about me and I couldn't switch house again since the school didn't have time for this. So I kept there feeling awkward due the fact that they didn't speak with me about anything.
    Thus, this was my experience with host family. We need lucky to have a good one. In my next post, I can write down about others situations in this exchange program.

    My trip to Iguazu Falls Planning on going to a cheap and good place to go, I decided spent a few days off in Iguazu Falls - Curitiba - Brazil and I didn't regret. The city is situaded on the boarder between Argentina and Paraguay and there are many activities to do throughout the cities. I arrived on thursday in the evening and crossed the boarder toward to Puerto Iguazu - small city on the boarder of Iguazu Falls. I gambled a bit at the cassino and went to a popular fair who sells good cheeses, wines and typical foods of the region. On friday, I went to Cataratas Waterfalls - Brazilian side and was amazing. The place is beautiful and I saw the waterfall in differents angles. There many good places to take pictures and it is a very neat place. After luch I went to a zoo nearby cataratas waterfalls and it is also a nice place to visit. There are differents kinds of birds,toucan, snakes, flamingos and butterflies. On Saturday, I spent my day in Ciudad del Leste - Paraguay and it is a good place to buy clothes, perfums and eletronics devices. And finally on sunday I went to Cataratas Waterfalls - Argentina side and I saw one more time the watterfalls. However, there differents things to see that you cannot see on the Brazilian side and it is such increadible. There is a boat ride which you can pass very near of the waterfalls that you cannot leaving this place without pass by. Thus, I wish I could go to others interesting place which has to visit there nevertheless I didn't have enought time.It goes without saying that it is a worth trip to do if you are planning visit Brazil. *If some native speaker or that have fluence in english correct my mistakes in this text I will appreciate it.
