    March 4th, 2025 28th February was my first paycheck since I moved to this new company. My salary increased and I spent the last few months deciding what I was going to buy! I ended up buying new work shoes and I’m wearing them now. I’m thinking of buying something else…

    In business English, what does it mean if someone says Lets get the ball rolling? It means to begin something. You might hear this in a meeting, when the chair person wants to begin. You could also use it it in regards to the start of a project, "we need to get the ball rolling on the marketing campaign by start of quarter 3" You can also use it in a general context "I had to get the ball rolling with organising my sisters birthday party, before it was too late to book anything" Can you give an example of how it could be used?

    The sky was overcast all day today. Lately, my hands have been peeling a lot, with blisters forming all over them. My mom started to worry/became worried, so after lunch, we decided to visit the clinic. The doctor checked me out and assured us that there was nothing to be concerned about. We were overreacting. To be safe though, (to err on the side of caution) he disinfected my hands and prescribed some ointment to help with the irritation. But he emphasized that the key is to focus on eating more fresh fruits and veggies.
