🌿 Mini-Exercise: “Reuniting the Two Voices” Duration: 2 minutes — soft, no pressure 1. Close your eyes for one breath. Notice how your body shifts when you think about speaking English. Don’t fix. Just observe. 2. Ask yourself quietly: “Who shows up when I speak English — the one who expresses, or the one who tries to survive?” Let the answer arrive on its own. Your nervous system will show you the truth faster than your mind. 3. Place one hand on your chest and whisper: “Both versions of me are allowed to be here.” This softens the internal split. 4. Now complete this sentence in your mind: “When I speak English, the part of me that takes over is the part that wants to…” (…be perfect, avoid judgment, stay safe, not bother anyone, sound smart — whatever is true for you.) 5. One final breath: Let your shoulders drop 1%. That 1% is where your real voice begins to return. You can also explore this kind of work with me - book a private consultation with me on my profile. Hope to see you in a lesson soon!

Different people have different ways for celebrating birthday in my country, but there are still something in common, such as sharing a birthday cake. Maybe a few decades ago, the local customs deeply influence the ways people celebrated birthday. Traditions needed to be followed. As the different cultures globalized, people tend to celebrate their birthday in a unique way which is really different the traditional ways. In the past, many relatives would be invited to come over to celebrate one's birthday, but nowadays, a birthday can be celebrated by oneself. They can plan a trip on that special day or even having a bungee Jumping. They like to post their birthday pictures on social medias and receive many likes. For elderly, a birthday family reunion is the best. They prepare many dishes for the whole family insteading of eating outside. They really enjoy the process of cooking. Of course, not matter how people celebrate their birthday, they must be haapy on that day!

It’s been a while. Good evening. I'd like to share something I've been thinking about lately. I’ve been thinking about how I’m getting better at managing my money. A few years ago, I used to buy anything I wanted right away or spend my money as soon as I had it. But recently, I’ve started to stop myself and think before I spend. When I look back, I realize how easily I used to spend money without thinking. Now I’m proud that I can control myself better. It’s not easy to give up things I want, but because I have clear goals now, I feel like I can make better choices. I’m saving money for three reasons: to change the way I use my money, to have more choices for what I want to do in the future, and to travel abroad. Saving money can be tough, but it has many good points. And I believe the goals waiting for me at the end will be worth it. Let’s all keep doing our best together.

when you teach in Germany, the school organizes an event. you dress casual because you don't get any notifications. but when you arrive, you realize that everybody dresses formal. you are embarrassed. what would you do? if I was this teacher in this situation where somebody invited me to an event, but somehow I didn't hear or they didn't tell me about the dress code, and I ended up going under dressed. that would not be a very fun situation. so in the first place, I would sincerely apologize for not following the dress code to the activity's manager. taking responsibility for the situation is important to maintain Trust and open communication with the school colleagues. then, I would explain that I didn't get notification. and I didn't notice the local custom. so I made an honest mistake. third, I would suggest alternative ways to find an opportunity to try to change my outfit. if I had no time to go back, I would borrow one outfit from my colleague. and make sure I will never make similar mistakes again. last but not least, I would reflect on this incident and ensure I have a better understanding of School events. next time if I am invited, I would ask about the dress code in advance to prevent embarrassing things happen again.

Mini-Exercise: “When Pressure Steals Your English” 2–3 minutes • gentle awareness practice 1️⃣ Recall a moment when English felt harder than it should have. A meeting, an interview, a conversation — any moment where your mind suddenly tightened. 2️⃣ Notice what changed inside you first. Your breath? Your chest? Your thoughts speeding up? Your voice shrinking? Just observe without judging. 3️⃣ Complete this quiet sentence in your mind: “The pressure rises when I fear that…” Don’t edit it. Don’t fix it. Let the truth finish itself. 4️⃣ Take one slow breath and allow your shoulders to drop. This soft release helps your voice return. 5️⃣ Ask yourself: “What if nothing is wrong with my English — only with the pressure I carry?” That’s enough for today. Awareness is the first moment where your real voice begins to come back.

🌿 Mini-Exercise: “When Do You Start Performing?” Duration: 2 minutes Many learners don’t notice the exact moment their English shifts from expression to performance. This exercise helps you catch that moment gently — without judgment. 1. Recall your last English conversation Just one. The moment is enough. Ask yourself: “When did I stop expressing myself — and start performing myself?” Don’t force an answer. Let the moment choose you. 2. Notice the shift in your body Where did you feel it? Your chest? Your shoulders? Your breath? Most people feel the “performance moment” before they hear it. 3. Complete one quiet sentence: “I began performing when I felt… ______.” (This one line often reveals more than weeks of studying.) 4. End with a soft reminder: “My voice doesn’t need to impress. It needs to express.”
