The purpose of this lesson is to get to know you and the learning style you prefer. we will briefly discuss your learning goals and thereafter start with the lesson which is catered to your English learning goals.

Hello! I teach using student books that help guide our lessons and give structure so that you can see your own personal progress and be able to develop your English skills in all areas- speaking, grammar, vocabulary, listening, and reading. In this trial lesson, I will introduce you to this book, English File, and see if it matches what you would like to use during your learning experience with me! I will also be able to assess your language level and determine which level of book in this series would fit you in order to maximize your learning and development as an English speaker. Of course, I don't just use this material and focus more on helping make you feel comfortable in speaking and understanding, that way you can use your English skills in the real world with people everywhere!

This is a trial lesson to see if you like me as a teacher! After it you can decide if you would like a proper lesson with me!

Welcome! In your trial lesson, we'll talk about your goals and get to know more about your English proficiency and strengths. 

We'll do an easy 15-20 minute lesson so you can get a feel for what it's like to work with me. You can choose the topic, or if you'd like, you can select one of the following:

1. American Idioms
2. American Classrooms
3. American Business Etiquette
4. Writing for an American Audience


You'll have a chance to evaluate your progress and together we'll make a plan for what we'll focus on in future lessons.

Let's have a chat about your learning goals and see what I can help you with. I will learn a bit about you and we can make a plan for future lessons. Depending on your level we might have a conversation or I can set some exercises to find out what you need to work on to improve your English. After our lesson I will send you an idea of what we might work on.
