What is your pet peeve about modern English usage?
My pet peeves are:
<ul><li>"tbh" in texting uses by both learners and native speakers. It's totally unnecessary and overused.</li><li>native speakers using "should of, could of"</li></ul>I just can't stand to see those.

I detest the use of "like" in like every like instance that like another like word could like be used to like explain the like situation ........
I truly think it's usage has invaded the language like a virus. (Correct use of the word)

My biggest pet peeve is when people declare the death of the English language whenever they come across a usage or stylistic choice they disagree with, whether it’s actually wrong or not.
