Conversation practice for intermediate to more advanced speakers of English. The lesson focus can be adapted to each student though an overall goal is for them to learn new vocabulary, phrases, grammar points and other important aspects of the English language. Each student is welcome to bring their own material to a lesson whilst learning resources such as newspaper articles can be provided.

Practice conversational English with a native speaker by discussing a wide range of topics. This could be something of particular interest to the student, a recent event that made national or international news or an issue affecting wider society. The purpose of a conversation class is to build each student's confidence in speaking and listening in English, whilst sharing some of their ideas and opinions with the tutor. The tutor will give language tips and ideas throughout, correcting any significant grammatical  and pronunciation errors and suggesting good choices of vocabulary.

Conversational English for lower intermediate to advanced speakers

Language modules focused on different aspects of Francophone culture and the French language. Cultural modules examining a variety of different mediums (cinema, history, philosophy), often with a comparative focus between different languages and/or nations. History modules covering a broad range of ancient and more contemporary periods.

It can be anything; a novel, an online article, a textbook, a podcast, a film to name but a few. Your writing can be about anything too. It might be for work, for study or personal interest. If you're not sure where to start, writing some kind of diary/journal where you recount and reflect on your day or your week is very useful. You could also do this in spoken form during the lesson. I've taught many different levels, ranging from young learners (ages 5 and up), teenagers and adults. I've also specialised in teaching Cambridge exam strategy and I've had a 90% pass rate.

I teach many different levels, from young learners to adults. I plan dynamic classes and can easily adapt if something does not go according to plan. I also teach Cambridge levels, B1-C1 and I have a 95% pass rate.

In this trial lesson, students can expect to do a speaking activity, receive feedback on their production and a quick evaluation of their speaking level according to the CEFR.

It is not based on any textbook or test, only on the CEFR "can dos".

The focus of the lesson is to build a first rapport between teacher and student, as well as a quick speaking assessment.

In my conversation classes, students will have the oppoirtunity to talk about topics that matter for their lives and careers, get feedback on their production and learn how to improve their pronunciation, intonation, grammar and vocabulary. They are aimed at students who need to boost their speaking skills. 

I follow the Cambridge methodology, and all my classes are focused on communication and on preparing students for real life challenges. 

The materials (slides, pdf files and homework) are provided by me during the lesson. 

The class is not focused on any specific textbook or test, and the teaching methods are based on the communicative approach, task-based learning and other up-to-date methodologies. 

The main focus of the lesson is to prepare students for daily life situations.

The Alphabet – Learning A to Z

This lesson helps students get comfortable with basic English greetings and introductions. This introductory lesson will establish a Teacher-Student connection and acquaint new students with my teaching style and tools. 

The focus on the lesson will be evaluating the student's English level and customising all their subsequent lessons to the student's personal English learning needs.

This lesson is a chance for students to simply practice their conversational English. Students can talk about anything they would like to talk about. 

The focus of this lesson will be to practice and improve pronunciation and grammar in everyday English conversation.

English Conversation Practice

This lesson includes a brief story that teaches basic English vocabulary and sentence structure. The story will be tailored to each student and include a short, interactive activity designed to help the student practice what they have just learned.

-Students will be encouraged to speak in full sentences during the lesson.
-Students will not be given homework assignments, but may be taught the lesson again in the future to solidify the newly learned English grammar or pronunciation.  
-Students will be encouraged to read and speak during the lesson.

Basic English Speaking Practice for Children (6-11 years) A1 to B1

The purpose of this lesson is to help English students practice their conversational skills. This lesson includes a brief game that helps warm the students up for the lesson and creates a relaxed and informal setting in which they can learn.
 

-Students will be encouraged to speak in full sentences during the lesson.

IELTS Complete Course

The Trinity Diploma in TESOL is an advanced teaching qualification and is accredited in England by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority at Level 7 on the UK National Qualifications Framework as are master's degrees in related subject areas. Assessment was based on a written paper, coursework portfolio, phonology interview and five assessed lessons.

The Trinity Cert in TESOL provides the basic skills and knowledge needed to take up a first post as an ESOL teacher.
