This introductory lesson is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and establish a preferred learning style. I will asses your level of English and develop a personalised plan to help you improve your English speaking skills.

This lesson is for relaxed, natural speaking practice. We talk about any topic you are interested in, build fluency, and remove hesitation. The goal is clear, comfortable communication without pressure. You speak freely, and I correct you when needed so your English becomes more natural over time.

Conversation

This is not a typical IELTS speaking lesson.

The focus is strategy. You learn how to stay calm, think clearly, and respond to any question, even when the topic is unfamiliar. The aim is to help you speak fluently and logically, instead of freezing, memorising answers, or forcing ideas that do not feel natural.

Of course, I will correct your grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. But the main work is learning how to handle questions properly so your speaking stays clear and controlled throughout the test.

I regularly help students improve by about 0.5 to 1.5 bands by changing how they approach IELTS speaking. In each session, we work with realistic questions and focused feedback so you know exactly what to improve and how to do it.

How to Answer Difficult IELTS Speaking Questions

This lesson is for students who want to perform clearly, confidently, and naturally in English job interviews. I help you shape your experience into strong, professional answers without sounding scripted. The focus is on clear communication, confident delivery, and speaking like someone who understands their own value.

We practise real interview questions, refine your structure, and build the skills needed to express achievements, responsibilities, and challenges effectively. You also learn how to avoid long explanations, unclear answers, or memorised responses. Many students notice improvement in the first session.

Job Interview Preparation

This lesson teaches you how to turn messy thoughts into clear, natural English. Many students know what they want to say but struggle to shape their ideas into clean sentences. In this lesson, you bring sentences, ideas, or feelings that you find difficult to express. We break them down, rebuild them, and practise creating clear English that matches what you mean.

You learn how to express feelings and complex ideas, and how to avoid unnatural phrasing. We work with short thought building tasks that strengthen clarity, structure, and precise communication. Each session builds your ability to think and speak in English without translating.

This is a focused lesson for improving clarity, accuracy, and natural expression. If you want to speak in a way that is sharp, controlled, and easy to understand, this lesson is the right choice.

Build Better English

We work with realistic professional scenarios. Meetings, negotiations, difficult conversations, giving feedback. You practise handling them while I correct both your English and your communication.

You learn how to soften a message when you need to, how to be direct when the situation calls for it, and how to word things carefully when the wrong phrase changes everything. Each scenario is different, so you practise adjusting your tone, your language and your approach depending on who you are speaking to and what the situation demands.

These scenarios come from real experience. I spent years in senior management, leading teams of over 40 people, running meetings and interviewing candidates. I correct how you speak, but I also correct how you interact.

Soft Skills in English Communication

One hour of intense, varied English practice under real pressure. I give you scenarios, switch topics without warning, challenge your responses, and push you to think and speak in English with no time to prepare.

You will read short texts and summarise them within a time limit. You will look at situations, analyse them, and explain your thinking clearly. You will respond to unexpected questions, defend your opinions, and handle pushback.

I correct your English, but I also test how clearly you communicate when things get difficult.
After the lesson, you receive written feedback on what I observed and what to work on.

This is a course of 18 lessons. I will use PDF materials to teach you common expressions and idioms that English speakers use in everyday life! This material will help you to understand native speakers better, and also to sound like a native speaker yourself. These lessons also contain audio files to practice your listening as well.

An Introduction to Non-Literal English Vocabulary - Idioms and Everyday Expressions (B2-C1)

I can proofread your essay or any other written assignment, correct any errors, and send it back to you. I will also list the corrections I make in a separate document to send you, for your convenience.

In this class, we will use the Cambridge English In Use series of textbooks to expand your vocabulary and give you practice using it. There are multiple levels to choose from based on your needs:

- Pre-intermediate and Intermediate Vocabulary
- Upper Intermediate Vocabulary
- Advanced Vocabulary:
- Intermediate Phrasal Verbs
- Advanced Phrasal Verbs
- Advanced Idioms

Class will consist of two parts: 1) We will look at your homework from the previous unit (including exercises from the book), and 2) We will discuss the main ideas for the next Unit so you are prepared for the next exercises.

General English Vocabulary - Pre-intermediate, Upper Intermediate, Advanced

A comprehensive course which includes training on teaching grammar, pronunciation, reading and writing, error corrections, lesson planning, and classroom management; with an additional course on teaching English online.

Bachelor's degree with honors in English Language and Literature by the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

My passion for languages lead me to pursie a Master's degree in Asian Studies, focusing on Japanese Language and Literature, with a thesis on Takako Takahashi's short stories. Theses experience provided me with lots of practice hours studying and speaking Japanese, and was also a great opportunity to learn different techniques to teach foreigner languages, as I was taking Japanese lessons next to professional linguistis and researchers.

I've been teaching Spanish to foreigners, specially immigrants' kids and foreigners who have just arrived in Mexico, as well as exchange students attending mexican universities.
