In this trial lesson we will have conversation practice, and get to know each other. I will give you an idea of my style of speaking and how I offer corrections.

In this lesson, we will practice and improve English conversational and speaking skills. The class will begin with an introduction, and will follow a natural flow. If the conversation starts to die down, I will choose a random topic to give the conversation some direction. Alternatively, we can discuss a topic chosen by you, or look at a particular article or piece of written material of your liking.

I had to complete 150 hours of coursework as well as 20 practicum hours in an english language school.

It usually feels very scary to book a first lesson. Maybe you have had bad experiences with English learning in the past. Perhaps it feels strange to meet a stranger on a computer. And of course - trying something new is always scary! And I'm a new person and learning English this way - may be a new thing for you! 

But please don't worry! You're not alone. Nearly EVERYONE feels this way. It was the same for me when I had my first online class. 

I will bring care and empathy to every lesson, and especially the first one. In the trial lesson, I won't be evaluating you. I will not correct your mistakes on our first call together. 

Instead - my intention is that you feel comfortable and relaxed. I want you to see what I am like as a teacher, and I want to get to know you! 

I know your abilities are better than they will appear in this first class, because you will probably be nervous. That's totally normal! We're humans! 

I will listen without judgement and offer a lot of empathy. I will let you speak. I will give you the opportunity to really be heard.

This will allow us to see if working together makes sense. If we decide to continue with another class, what you share in the trial lesson will help me design personalized classes for you - based on your interests, lifestyle needs, goals, strengths, and challenges.

GETTING CONFIDENT: Coaching for Living & Working in English

For many people, even native English speakers, "small talk" is boring.

If you're learning English and you're someone who prefers to talk about deeper, more personal or meaningful topics -- small talk can be very unpleasant. 

I understand! That's how I feel. I don't like talking about the weather or what I did yesterday or what I am going to do for vacation/holiday.

Instead, I like to hear what people really think, what they have experienced in their lives, and what they care about.

I give students the opportunity to talk about what they LIKE to talk about. Things that interest them. What they like to think and learn about. Their lives. Their world. 

Getting a chance to actually converse, in English, might be just what you're missing - and it can help build your confidence and increase your motivation.

GETTING REAL: Conversations for People Tired of Small Talk

Let's get to know each other. I will show you the material I will be using in class. My teaching style and what you can expect in my classes. I will get to know you and what you would like to work on so I can make a lesson plan for you.

In this class we will work on your speaking. I will help you speak more fluently be able to ask and answer common questions. Tell people about yourself, your job and life. Work on good pronunciation and help with any problems you may be having with your speaking.

In this class we will go over basic grammar that you will need to improve and learn English the right way. I use Cambridge English in use along with other materials.

English grammar A1-B1

In this class we will go deeper into your English learning with more advanced grammar, speaking practice and pronunciation work. I use the Cambridge face to face books for this lesson but will include other materials that fit your learning needs.

English Grammar for B2-C1

In these classes I will teach children up to 18 years of age. We will go over grammar, speaking, reading writing, pronunciation, and listening skills. I try to make my children's classes fun and keep them interesting in learning English.

English for Kids.

Here is my accepence letter and my contract renewal from DadaAbc which is a childrens platform that I had previously worked at for over 3 years. I do not have the contract as you can see from the email it was signed on their website and this company was shut down because of the online teaching restrictions in China two years ago, but I believe since you can easily see it is a contract renewal and they said they reviewed my performance that it should be enough, if not let me know.
