When you book this class, I will send you a PDF which outlines all of my speaking lesson topics that I have available so that you can choose based on your interests and needs. If you want to practise a specific part of grammar, let me know, and I can choose lessons with activities that allow you to practise that specific part of grammar.

Guided Speaking Practice: Enhancing Fluency, Accuracy, Vocabulary and Confidence

Learn practical language skills through lessons that cover important grammar, vocabulary and topics at your level to speak English confidently in daily life. 

I will give you homework activities that are based on what you learn in each lesson so that you can also learn and practise independently. In addition, we will spend 5 minutes at the start of every lesson reviewing content from the previous lesson so that you can work on mastering your new vocabulary and skills!

Speaking: Practise speaking for everyday communication in English and learn useful pronunciation tips.

Listening: Improve your understanding through speaking and listening activities with me and with audio/video materials.

Reading: Enhance your comprehension with diverse texts and exercises.

Writing: Develop your writing skills through targeted practice and feedback.

General English Course: Speaking, Pronunciation, Grammar, Listening, Reading and Writing

Are you currently living in an English-speaking country or planning to move to one? These lessons are designed to help you navigate everyday communication with confidence.

Together we will set personalised goals targeted towards building English skills to help you communicate more confidently in everyday life, at work, and in your community. Your goals may be in the following areas: daily interactions, social contexts, job seeking, language for the workplace, housing, communication strategies, listening and pronunciation, and vocabulary related to your daily life.

English Skills for Life in an English-Speaking Country

A course for community volunteers to become ESOL home tutors. Tutors then provide one-to-one, English-language support to adult, former refugees and migrants in New Zealand.

Course includes: Intercultural awareness, Adults as language learners, Teaching techniques for ESOL, Identifying learner needs and setting learner goals, Planning tutoring sessions and using resources and Evaluating sessions and reporting on progress.

I supported learners that face learning difficulties and challenges and developed individualised support for them. A big component of this role was within the school's International Department with students who speak English as an additional language.

I deliver high quality General English lessons to both adults and children online via Zoom. I develop my own course and lesson plans to implement speaking, listening, reading, spelling and writing instruction including phonics, morphology, and writing skills at the word, sentence and paragraph level.

I taught adults in a range of course types, both online and in person. Courses I taught included Grammar Online, General English and English for Migrants. I developed skills in creating course outlines and learning material and the ability to teach adults at a range of language levels.

I taught children aged 6-15 and developed course outlines and material covering speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar through General English topics to support their English for the NZ school curriculum.
