In my Japanese Café Talk lessons, we focus on relaxed conversation about life, culture, travel, and real experiences.
I can customize your lesson depending on your goal. 
For beginner and elementary level students, I have two textbooks(IRODORI/NIHONGO FUN & EASY). You can practice speaking and listening a lot and learn basic grammar using those textbooks. Please check each lesson plan for details.
In the first lesson, your goals, what kind of lesson you want, and I would love to know about you!
After you make a reservation, I will send you a PDF file so that you can know my lesson style and materials and decide what you want to do in advance.

This lesson focuses on learning and using survival Japanese and useful phrases through role-play in realistic situations.

Example situations:

Talking with a host family/Ordering at a restaurant/Shopping/Dealing with problems at the airport/Making friends at school

We can practice conversations based on what you would like to say in each situation!
In the first lesson, please tell me your goals, plans, and how many lessons you would like to take. Then, we will create a lesson plan together.
We usually follow the plan so that I can prepare well for you. If you would like to practice something different from the plan, please let me know in advance.

To help you improve faster, I may suggest some simple self-study, such as reviewing new vocabulary depending on your goal.

Absolute beginners are welcome!

I will speak mostly in Japanese to help improve your listening skills, but don’t worry. I can sometimes explain in English.

To make the most of our lesson time, I may suggest some simple self-study, such as learning Hiragana/Katakana, reviewing grammar, or practicing vocabulary.

【About IRODORI】
Three textbooks (A1, A2-1, A2-2), grammar notes, worksheets, vocabulary lists, and audio files are available.
 You can download everything for free from the official IRODORI website.
Each textbook has 18 chapters.
 We usually spend about 2–3 hours per chapter.

【Important Notes】
You don’t need to know Hiragana and Katakana at the beginning, but I recommend learning them before Chapter 2 of the first textbook.
We can skip some chapters depending on your level and goals.
Please take some time to review and do self-study between lessons so we can use our lesson time effectively.
