In the trial lesson, we will talk about your learning goals, current level, and learning style, while trying simple Japanese conversation together.

This lesson is a chance for you to experience my teaching style and to challenge yourself to communicate in Japanese at your own pace.

If you are completely new to Japanese, don’t worry — we can use English whenever necessary.

At the end of the lesson, I will suggest the most suitable course and study plan based on your needs and goals.

This course is designed for beginner learners of Japanese.

In this class, I mainly use the textbook “Minna no Nihongo”, which I highly recommend for learning Japanese grammar.

Minna no Nihongo is carefully structured, and the order of grammar points is very well designed.
By building grammar step by step, students can learn even difficult Japanese grammar smoothly and without confusion.

Some students feel that pattern practice can be boring, but my lessons are different.
I help you use the grammar in real, everyday conversation, using original tasks and other materials when needed.

I will start from the unit that matches your current level, and practice grammar and conversation in a fun and practical way.

For students who want to learn Japanese for travel to Japan, I use a different approach.

In this case, “Minna no Nihongo” can take too much time, and it may not be practical enough for short-term goals.

I recommend using “Marugoto”, which focuses on simple sentence patterns and useful expressions.

This allows you to practice practical Japanese you can use immediately while traveling.

Basic Japanese Grammar and Conversation

This course is for learners who have completed the beginner level and can have basic daily conversations, but still feel unsure about their grammar and vocabulary.

In this class, I focus on strengthening your grammar foundation while helping you use what you already know more naturally.

I mainly use “Minna no Nihongo II” or “Marugoto (Pre-Intermediate / Intermediate)”, depending on your level and learning goals.

Many intermediate learners understand grammar, but find it difficult to use it in conversation.
In my lessons, I help you connect grammar and vocabulary to real communication through guided practice and conversation.

This class is ideal for students who want to speak more smoothly and with more confidence.

Intermediate Grammar and Conversation

This class is perfect for learners who want more opportunities to speak Japanese and receive natural corrections and feedback.

We will have free conversation in Japanese based on your interests, daily life, or recent topics.
If you don’t have a topic prepared, that’s totally fine — I can suggest one for you.

During the conversation, I will gently correct your Japanese and help you express yourself more naturally, without interrupting too much.

If you have short Japanese texts or essays, I can review and correct them within the lesson time.

This lesson does not include textbooks or homework and is designed for learners who want to practice speaking in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Free Conversation

This course is designed for learners aiming to pass the JLPT N3 or N2.

I use well-known JLPT preparation textbooks such as “Shin Kanzen Master,” “Speed Master,” and “Drill & Drill.”

We cover vocabulary, grammar, reading, and listening, with a strong focus on identifying and strengthening your weak areas.

For learners planning to take JLPT N4, I usually recommend first completing “Minna no Nihongo II” to build a solid grammar foundation.
Once the basic grammar is in place, JLPT-focused study becomes much more effective.

Lesson content and pace are adjusted based on your current level, goals, and study schedule.

Students are expected to complete these questions in advance as self-study.

During the lesson
The lesson focuses mainly on reviewing the homework, explaining key grammar points, vocabulary, and test strategies, and answering your questions.
We work efficiently to improve your weaker areas in grammar, vocabulary, reading, and listening.

After the lesson
You will continue self-study using my feedback and advice, so you can prepare more effectively for the next lesson.
