We will explore a diverse vocabulary! I’ll do my best for you to feel comfortable and confident while talking about different topics that will help you improve your pronunciation and fluency. We can talk about topics according to your Spanish level and interests (i.e. hobbies, cultures, new trends).

¡Exploraremos un diverso vocabulario! Me esforzaré para que te sientas cómodo y seguro mientras hablamos sobre diferentes temas que te ayudarán a mejorar tu pronunciación y fluidez. Podemos hablar de distintos temas de acuerdo a tu nivel de español e intereses (ej. pasatiempos, culturas, nuevas tendencias).

Are you a beginner? Forget about the “solo hablo inglés”. I will teach you Spanish 101 step by step! You will get familiar with simple conversations that are essential in different contexts. 
Are you looking for something else? We can improve your general Spanish skills! I will help you with your writing, reading comprehension, listening and speaking according to your level. The classes will be focused on your needings (i.e. formal/informal environment).

¿Eres un principiante? Olvídate del "solo hablo inglés". ¡Te enseñaré el Español 101 paso a paso! Te familiarizarás con conversaciones simples que son esenciales en diferentes contextos.
¿Estás buscando algo diferente? ¡Podemos mejorar tus habilidades generales en el español! Te ayudaré con tu escritura, comprensión lectora, comprensión auditiva y expresión oral según tu nivel. Las clases se centrarán en tus necesidades (ej. entorno formal/informal).

READING

We’ll read different kinds of books, articles, movies/shows scripts and more! If you want, you can bring your own material to class. As you read, I will help you practice your pronunciation. I will also read some parts so we can work on improving your listening and understanding skills. If there’s a part that you don’t quite understand because of the grammar, vocabulary, game of words, slang, etc., I'll explain it to you. 

Leeremos diferentes tipos de libros, artículos, guiones de películas/series y más. Si deseas, puedes traer tu propio material a clase. Mientras lees, te ayudaré a practicar tu pronunciación. También leeré algunas partes para que podamos mejorar tus habilidades de escucha y comprensión. Si hay alguna parte que no entiendas debido a la gramática, vocabulario, juego de palabras, jergas, etc., te lo explicaré. 


MOVIES / SHOWS / YOUTUBE 

We are going to watch some clips of different audiovisual material (i.e. movies, shows, songs, YouTube videos) and discuss its content. This way, you’ll understand and learn new vocabulary from material that is of your interest. We can talk about the kind of resources we’ll use and, of course, you can bring or suggest your own if that’s something you’d like.

Vamos a mirar algunos extractos de diferente material audiovisual (ej. películas, series, canciones, canales de YouTube) y discutiremos su contenido. De esta manera, entenderás y aprenderás nuevo vocabulario a partir de material que es de tu interés. Podemos hablar acerca del tipo de recursos que usaremos y, por supuesto, puedes traer o sugerir alguno, si es que lo deseas.
