Conversation practice in modern Greek - Pronunciation lesson (A1-C2)
The method I use in this class is collaborative. You practice real world conversation in a natural and relaxed way. What this means is that we have a nice, interesting conversation. Through structured conversation, you will improve your pronunciation, as well as learning lots of native Greek expressions in a fun and friendly environment!

I always take notes during our conversations. I like to spend the last minutes of our sessions reviewing notes on grammar, sentence structure and pronunciation. After the end of the course this feedback will be shared with you, so that you have the chance to review after class.

Beginning, intermediate, and advanced Greek speakers will improve listening skills, speaking skills, and confidence. Also, you will learn new vocabulary words to use in conversations.

Modern Greek for Beginner - Proficiency

This course is aimed at those who wish to improve a specific skill (listening, writing, reading, speaking). It is suitable for those who are preparing for the upcoming exams and feel that they lack a certain skill.

❗️The course is not for those who only want to learn to speak without any interest in the rest of the skills!

READING - SPEAKING
In each lesson we will do a series of texts according to the student's level. The texts include a variety of topics, exercises and questions. Thus, the student will learn new vocabulary words and make sentences with them. He/she will then be given the opportunity to share his/her ideas using the Greek language and strengthen his/her conversational skills. Finally, we will have an open discussion on topics inspired by the text.

LISTENING - SPEAKING
In each lesson, we do a series of listening sessions on specific topics depending on the level. Then we distinguish the unknown words and we will discuss what we have just heard with the aim of better mastering the vocabulary of the subject.

WRITING
In each lesson, we write texts according to the student's level. Then we fix them together and explain the individual problems.

SPEAKING
This course is structured to consolidate vocabulary and learn new words. It includes questions, pictures and discussion on specific topics as well as role plays. It is the best choice for someone who is about to take a Greek exam and wants to practice in an exam-like environment.

You will have the opportunity to practice Greek at your own pace and level and build your confidence and develop your skills.


All students receive written corrections during the lesson via Google Docs, which they can use for further study at home.

Ελληνομάθεια - Exam preparation (A1-Γ2)

The "Alphabet, start reading and speaking for beginner" courses focus on teaching a wide range of vocabulary using flashcards and  PowerPoint presentations. 

Students :
1. will learn all the Greek sounds and how to recognize and write each sound  (phonics).
2. will learn vocabulary relating to a variety of topics (verbs-nouns). 
3. will learn to construct sentences and express ideas.

Each lesson will begin with conversation practice, where students will practice 
1. greetings as well as talking about themselves and their day. 
2. vocabulary they have already learned.

Throughout the lessons, we focus on pronunciation, grammar, sentence construction and vocabulary that they will be corrected, refined and perfected. In this way the students will be talking and reading naturally and fluently.

When we complete the initial cycle of lessons at Level A0, we will be able to continue with a textbook to help you progress in learning the Greek language. 
These books offer structured exercises to improve grammar, vocabulary and develop reading, listening, writing and speaking skills. 
However, the course will not be exclusively based on one book, but will also be used additional teaching material, personal notes and exercises.
