Whether you have a presentation to prepare, an academic paper to write or want to improve your language for class discussion, I can help you with your academic German, so that it is clear, precise and correct, so that you can get those grades ;-) 
I'm currently a master's student myself. Additionally, I have always received very positive feedback on my own academic work and I have corrected many papers and presentations of other native and non-native German speakers who did so, as well. If you think about applying to a German speaking university, we can also go over structure, important terms and overall improve your academic vocabulary.

Academic German B2+  | Deutsch fürs Studium B2+

Whether you've  recently started your German journey and want to use your vocabulary and grammar skills in conversation or you have been studying German for a while and want to use it to talk about interesting, important and complex topics instead of following a book, a conversation class is perfect for you! We will talk about different topics depending on you level. For beginners these include your daily life, such as your routines, your family, friends and pets or your work/studies. 

If you're more advanced in your German journey, we can talk about more complex topics. In that case I'll normally start this class with a question regarding the class topic and then we'll go from there following the natural flow of the conversation. If you want to talk about a certain topic, for example about your studies or work, let me know! We can also discuss German culture or life in Germany if you live here and need a bit of help figuring out the German society around you :-)

Whatever level you're at, the goal is for you to speak as much German as possible, but I will of course help you in another language if you feel safer this way. I will take notes of important phrases and vocabulary that come up in the conversation so you can review them after the class.

Conversational German A2+ | Konversationsunterricht A2+

Dies ist eine 'klassische' Sprachstunde. Wir werden uns auf alle wichtigen Fähigkeiten konzentrieren, also Sprechen, Schreiben, Hören und Lesen sowie Grammatik, passend zu deinem Niveau und deinen spezifischen Bedürfnissen. Wenn du ein bestimmtes Thema besprechen oder einen bestimmten Grammatikpunkt behandeln möchtest, lass es mich wissen! Auch wenn diese Klassen strukturierter sind als Konversationskurse, gibt es dennoch viel Raum für deine eigene Initiative und wir werden jede Menge Spaß haben. Lachen ist der Schlüssel zum Lernen :-)

This is a "classic" language lesson. We will focus on all the main skills, i.e. speaking, writing, listening and reading as well as grammar according to your level and your specific needs. If you want to include a certain topic or revise a certain grammar point, let me know! Even though these classes are more structured than conversation classes, there is still a lot of room for your own input and we're going to have lots of fun. Laughing is key to learning :-)
