This option is an introduction to basic English conversation and vocabulary. Lessons are focused on assisting students with becoming more confident in conversation.

Basic Conversation and Vocabulary

In this fast-paced session, I will conduct a practice TOEFL exam. (This will not be an official exam.) You will be assessed on your reading comprehension and speaking skills. Afterward, I will offer my opinion of your results, personalized practice suggestions and resources to help strengthen your weaknesses. This test can also be recorded, if desired, and time-stamped corrections can be sent to you afterward.

This lesson involves a bootcamp in which vocabulary and sentences are practiced with the student. The subject of the content is agreed upon by student and teacher several days before the start of the lesson (job interview, language exam, business meeting, etc) to allow for preparation . A practice exam of material is given at the end of the lesson. All minutes are recorded in Skype, and a powerpoint style presentation is provided afterwards, summarizing the work completed and suggestions for progress. Video clips of the lesson are added to the presentation as a reference for corrections and suggestions. This is a very useful resource when preparing for important interactions.  *The price of this lesson reflects the amount of work involved in creating the comprehensive feedback.
