English conversation and topical discussion lessons aimed at improving fluency and accuracy while building vocabulary.

General English Program - Students choose which skills they would most like to focus on (e.g. speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar).

General English Skills

Instructed elementary and middle school students in general English skills (including grammar, reading, writing, listening, and speaking) at beginner to intermediate levels. Taught TOEFL exam preparation program. 
Instructed classes in academic writing at intermediate level, including paragraph structure and essay planning and organization. Proofread and edited English language educational textbooks aimed at elementary school learners. Taught intensive English conversation programs.

Instructed undergraduate university students in academic English with an emphasis on speaking and listening skills at pre- to upper-intermediate levels. Gave lessons in business English at upper-intermediate to advanced levels. Instructed pre-freshmen students in general and academic English. Taught TOEFL exam preparation and business English courses to undergraduate students. Participated in additional ESL related duties including curriculum design and development, editing, and proofreading.

Lectured groups of 60 students and facilitated workshops/tutorials of 15-30 students in academic English skills including process writing for paragraphs and essays, citation and referencing conventions, academic discussion skills, note-taking, and presentation skills. Employed communicative language teaching principles to engage students in academic discourse covering a wide range of topics such as technological innovation, social entrepreneurship, and intercultural awareness.

Conducted approximately 2000 individualized online lessons through Skype to international learners in fifteen countries. Instructed General English, English Conversation, Business English, English for Specific Purposes, and Exam Preparation (IELTS / TOEFL / PET / FCE / CAE and CPE) classes online to adult learners at all levels from beginner to advanced.

Taught workshops/tutorials of 15-30 students in English for academic purposes with a focus on discussion skills, listening skills, note-taking, and presentation skills.
