In this lesson my aim is to get to know you, your language goals and needs. I then plan to communicate with you on how we will achieve those goals as a team. I will be explaining my methods, materials and approaces to teching Afrikaans. It is also important to me to hear what your expectations of me are in order to ensure that I meet them. 
After discussing these important details, we'll run through a lesson example for the type of lessons you plan to have in the future! This way you can tell me your likes, dislikes and interests so that I can make the next lesson exen more enjoyable!

In these lessons we'll break down the most important aspects of tests in order to help you master them all. As we work through each lesson I'll help you learn how to understand, approach and answer tests in order to set yourself up for success. 
We'll look at topics such as comprehension, short questions, long questions and essay writing. 
We'll mainly make use of past papers, and other texts discussing aspects within the papers, in order to help you truly master these types of questions.

Afrikaans First Additional Language test preperation for grade 1-12

Since word order can differ vastly between languages, writing tasks can prove to be extremely challening to non-native speakers. 
In this course I'll provide you with actionable plans to write in Afrikaans in order to communicate effectively. 
I will be using templates, charts and extra resources in order to help you be comfortable with writing in Afrikaans. 
If you seak help with speeches specifically, I also offer speech preperation and pronunciation in this course.

Afrikaans First Additional Language essay and speech writing skills.

This Basic Afrikaans course is in order to help you master general Afrikaans skills. It is perfect if you aren't planning to persue Afrikaans in a formal setting, but rather want to be able to communicate effectively. 
This course is extremely relaxed and informal. It is based around conversation, pronunciation and communication. I would love to speak more about you interests, weather it be books, sports, world news or anything else. Speaking about things that you enjoy truly helps to acceletate the learning process.

My exprience as a tutor has helped me to understand how different students learn at different rates. 
It has also allowed me to adapt to different teaching methods based on my student's needs. 
I now also have experience to help students understand and speak a foreign language (Afrikaans to English students).
