If you have a goal to reach a specific CEFR level (e.g. B1), and you want to know where you are, and what you need - this one is for you!

This is a one hour learning consultation. You will receive a language test that will estimate your CEFR level, as well as weaknesses and strengths in semantic categories (e.g. vocabulary for 'hospitals', 'health', 'finance, ' 'transportation'). The test takes around 30 minutes to complete, and the lesson has to be booked at least three days in advance so the results can be properly analyzed. Send me a message if you want to know more.

Language proficiency test (level estimate and plan)

Are you already living in Sweden and want to improve your spoken Swedish for social purposes? In this course, we create a discussion list with topics that are related to real-world speaking situations that you want to master. Throughout the course, we will focus on building confidence by mimicking real-world situations that you often encounter, or would like to approach. 


Examples of these goals can be:

➡ 🍽️ Be able to attend a dinner party only speaking Swedish
➡📰 Be able to express opinions about a news event
➡ 😒🧐😉 🥺😅😐Be able to express emotions, states and thoughts in a nuanced way
➡🧑‍🏫👨‍💼 🙋🏽‍♀️🤵🏽‍♂️ Be able to respons to common greetings, and everyday conversations in a natural way

In this course, we will work on these guidelines:

➡ Pronouncation and melody. 
As Swedish is a tonal language with a specific melody and rhythm, this makes a huge difference when your goal is to integrate. The tones are really integral to the language, and the phrases and expressions that are used are highly contextual, which the melody will help with. 

➡ Everyday expressions
Using a set of everyday expressions will make a huge difference as the majority of real-world communication happens in these "in between" expressions. 

➡ A context-specific vocabulary list. 
By focussing on your individual goal, we will create a vocabulary list that is tightly integrated to that goal. This will help you build confidence when approaching this situation in real life.

Conversational Swedish - intermediate & advanced

In this course, I will design a personalized curriculum for you based on your individual needs and goals. I will share online resources, flashcards, track your progress and create content based on your needs.

During the course, we will work on real-life scenarios that match your actual goals. We will set up discussion topics, read articles, chapters from books and work on tools to expand vocabulary and fluency.

In this course I will personalize a curriculum for you to make it possible to work on your own in between the classes.
