I am so excited that you are considering consider doing a trial lesson with me. Your trial lesson is a chance for us to get to know each other better, for me to learn more about your goals and answer any questions that you might have. During your trial lesson we will discuss how you best learn, how I teach as well as make a plan that fits your needs.  I look forwards to meeting you!

This is a class for beginners and intermediate students. I use a textbook called "Sett i Gang 1 and 2."  I take a structured approach to teaching where we follow a curriculum and use an online portal that includes videos, quizzes, exams, listening exercises and grammar exercises. I unfortunately do not teach children.

Norwegian A1-A2 level (beginners)

B1-B2 is for the student who has already completed the A1-A2 level, or who has a working knowledge of Norwegian. I have a traditional approach to teaching, and I use a curriculum in combination with a textbook, online materials, quizzes and listening exercises. Please feel free to reach out if you are not sure what level to sign up for, and I will assist you. I unfortunately do not work with children.

Norwegian B1-B2 level (intermediate)

This is an intensive course for adults that runs for 45 hours. The class includes substantial homework and written assignments and uses a traditional textbook. It is designed for students who are serious about becoming fluent. The course is aimed at preparing students for the “Norskprøven,” the official language exam held four times a year in Norway. While you are not required to take the exam to enroll, you need to be very motivated to learn and grow.

Norwegian Intensive Course

This lesson is for the student who has at least completed A1 and wants to have a conversation lesson. The focus is not on grammar, but on speaking practice. You should not book this lesson if you are a complete beginner, but if you need help with the speaking portion of the A1  "norskprøven" I can can assist you.

Norwegian Conversation Lesson

Do you have questions about Norway or the Norwegian cutlture? Do you struggle with understanding the book you are reading, wonder how you can best learn Norwegian, or need help with that TV show you are trying to watch? Then this is the class for you. Together we drink some coffee, translate what your struggling with, and answer any questions you might have about life in Scandinavia:)

Norwegian Culture Class

This class is meant for the student who does not have time for a lot of homework, but who would like an introduction to grammar and pronounciation. We use a textbook and work through exercises and drills.
