Lesson Topic: Thai Greetings and Self-Introduction

Opening (5 minutes)
Welcome students in Thai and English
Introduce myself and explain lesson goals

Basic Thai Greetings (10 minutes)
Teach essential greetings: สวัสดี (sawadee), สบายดีไหม (sabai dee mai)
Guide students on correct pronunciation and wai gesture

Self-Introduction in Thai (10 minutes)
Cover simple self-introduction phrases
Here are some common Thai phrases for self-introduction:
1. ผม/ดิฉันชื่อ... (Phom/Dichan cheu...) - My name is...
ผม (Phom) for males     ดิฉัน (Dichan) for females
2. ยินดีที่ได้รู้จัก (Yin dee tee dai roo jak) - Nice to meet you
3. ผม/ดิฉันมาจาก... (Phom/Dichan maa jaak...) - I'm from...
4. ผม/ดิฉันอายุ... ปี (Phom/Dichan aa-yu... pii) - I am... years old

This course consists of 5 sections, each available in 45-minute and 60-minute formats. The lessons focus on essential Thai language skills while incorporating cultural elements or topics that interest you to enhance learning. In this class, I will talk with you in Thai as much as possible, but of course, I will explain everything in English as well. :D

2.) Thai Consonants and Vowels (Cultural Focus: Thai Food)
3.) Numbers and Basic Phrases (Cultural Focus: Thai Markets)
4.) Thai Tones and Pronunciation (Cultural Focus: Thai Music)
5.) Basic Reading and Writing (Cultural Focus: Thai Cinema)

Each lesson includes a mix of instruction, practice, and interactive activities. I'll use PowerPoint presentations for visual aids, provide PDF handouts, and incorporate Kahoot quizzes to make the classes engaging and effective.

This course consists of 5 sections, each available in 45-minute and 60-minute formats. The lessons focus on essential Thai language skills while incorporating cultural elements or topics that interest you to enhance learning.

1. Thai Travel Vocabulary (Cultural Focus: Popular Tourist Destinations)
2. Reading Thai Menus (Cultural Focus: Regional Thai Cuisines)
3. Thai Consonant Clusters and Vowel Combinations (Cultural Focus: Thai Architecture)
4. Tone Rules and Common Exceptions (Cultural Focus: Thai Traditional Sports)
5. Reading Thai Signs and Advertisements (Cultural Focus: Thai Shopping Culture)
