Communication: We'll get started with how we can present and talk about ourselves in everyday situations. I let my students speak and note corrections so we focus on fluency and get you communicating right away. 

Accuracy: Are those tricky grammar rules tripping up your English? I'll note any regular errors and explain the grammar concepts so there's clarity in your thinking and how certain sentences should be formed. 

Clarity: Pronunciation is important for clarity and I'll work with you to ensure words are pronounced properly so that you can be sure that you're saying what you mean. 

Vocabulary: It's the number one request from English learners. How do I expand my vocabulary? I'll show you easy, proven methods that will get you to recognize and learn new words so that you not only understand them when you hear them, but also can start using them right away. 

I specialize teaching adults (18-75), not only in the business sector but also retirees who are continuing their English learning as a hobby.

American Life 101: Speak English with Confidence and Understand How the U.S. Works

Recommended for intermediate, upper-intermediate and advanced English speakers. In this open and flexible conversation practice, we can talk about your interests, news topics, and more (within reason of course). Please nothing inappropriate. 
Take advantage of speaking with a native English speaker from America with expatriate experience, loads of travel stories, knowledge of multiple languages and a good sense of humor.

NEW COURSE! Need to improve your English for an upcoming trip? Love to travel and want to boost your English skills to have the confidence to travel and navigate airports and restaurants. This course is your answer. 
Focus:  Travel-related vocabulary, making reservations, asking for directions, understanding signs, ordering food, and discussing plans and preferences.

English for Travel

Learning SHOULD be fun and that's exactly what this course is about! I will use my years of experience teaching children both in and outside the classroom to create fun, dynamic lessons that will get young learners talking. Exposing children to language learning is a key component to language acquisition. 

Focus: Age-appropriate vocabulary, reading comprehension, listening activities, simple grammar lessons, fun conversational practice.

NOTE: If the child is a true beginner, I can speak with Italian, Spanish and French native speakers. This course also requests a meeting with parent or guardian to ensure learning goals and expectations are established.

Kids' English (Young Learners)

Improve your confidence in everyday office conversations, networking, and working with teams. As a skilled communicator with a media background, I’ll help you practice real-life conversations using the right questions to improve your fluency. This course will teach you how to start and join casual chats at work, speak with colleagues, and feel at ease in different situations. You’ll gain the skills to communicate clearly in both formal and informal settings.

English for Office Small Talk, Networking, and Team Communication

I was required to study and review multiple aspects of teaching English as a foreign language. The course was a total of 120 hours and culminated in a long form test, writing assignment and submission of a sample lesson plan. I passed this course with a level of "EXCELLENT" for creating a "well-designed, fun and interactive lesson for learners."

A requirement of this degree is a strong grasp of English grammar.

Experienced in teaching individual students and groups of all age groups from kindergartners to retirees, both in the classroom and on-site in various offices and schools in the region of Le Marche. Have managed teaching online and in-person. Well versed in a series of Cambridge exam prep for example, KET, PET, FIRST, and CAE.
