The main focus is going to be the everyday language. There is not one single most important thing in a language, than the ability to communicate with the people who actually speak the language. We will cover the alphabet, the pronunciation of each letter, some simple words and everyday expressions along with some basic grammar and vocabulary.

Let's dive into the History and Culture of ancient Athens while learning one of the most ancient languages in the world, the Greek language! We are about to set on a 24-hour virtual tour in ancient Athens, meet everyday people and get to know great figures of the ancient Greek World! Hour by hour, we are going to check out the Acropolis, the Parthenon, get a feeling of the people at the "Agora", the gathering point for all important aspects of the ancient Athenians' lives and the birthplace of "Democracy". We are going to check on slavery, medicine, theaters and warfare during the - so called - "Golden Age" of Ancient Athens!

Then, all you have to do is to book this lesson! We are going to dive deeper, both in Greek language acquisition and Greek history! And by learning from graphic novels, too! Beautiful pictures and vibrant dialogues bring back to life the amazing legacy of Alexander the Great and the Hellenistic World! But things are not so simple. There is a lot of controversy about his work and his legacy, too. Was he a liberator or a tyrant? Did he want to create a universal empire and society or did he want to promote the greco-persian customs and culture, first and foremost? Did he consider himself a God? We are going to examine these points of controversy by going through a buoyant dialogue between one of his soldiers and one of his writers, who followed him in his campaign. Let's go! Πάμε!
