中級レベル(JLPT N4からN3)の日本語会話のレッスンです。このクラスでは、私は日本語だけを話します。生徒さんも、できる限り日本語を使ってください。でも、私に質問や確認をしたい時は、英語/スペイン語/中国語/ドイツ語/ポルトガル語を使ってもOKです。

※「１時間のレッスン」は実質約５５分間です。
※レッスン予約のキャンセルは、レッスンが開始する時間の２４時間よりも前にしてください。それ以降のレッスンのキャンセルは、生徒さんの全額負担になります。

　This is an intermediate-level Japanese conversation lesson (JLPT N4 to N3). In this class, I will speak only in Japanese. Students are also encouraged to use Japanese as much as possible. However, if you have any questions or need clarification, you may use English, Spanish, Chinese, German, or Portuguese.

Conversation Japanese (Intermediate Level)

Absolute beginners to early beginners (JLPT N5). We focus on practical speaking for travel and everyday life. If you’d like, we can also include reading and writing practice. Please note that this course does not provide exam preparation.
I teach primarily in English, but I can also support lessons via Spanish, Chinese, German, or Portuguese (I’m less fluent in these than in English).
Notes
“30-minute lesson” = about 27 minutes of class time.
“60-minute lesson” = about 55 minutes of class time.
Cancellation policy: Please cancel at least 24 hours before your lesson start time. Cancellations within 24 hours are charged in full.

Introductory Japanese Conversation (Absolute Beginner to Beginner / JLPT N5 to N4)

　正直に言います。私は生まれも育ちも日本、「ザ・ショウワ」の家庭に育った普通の日本人です。なので、母国語は日本語で、英語はネイティブ言語ではありません。その時代では極々一般的な、「英語は中学校１年生から」です。当然、私の英語は、発音や語彙力においてネイティブに劣ります。

　しかし、自慢するほどのことではありませんが、学生時代は親のスネをかじりながら、大学・大学院生時代をアメリカで約８年間を過ごしました。

　その後は翻訳や通訳の仕事、英会話の講師の仕事などを２０年間ほど続けています。公立小学校のALT(アシスタント・ランゲージ・ティーチャー)の経験もあるんです... と言うと聞こえはいいかもしれませんが、実際は家計のことは家内に任せて、子育てと家事をしながら、空いている時間に自分のできることをしているだけ...
