This is a trial lesson to get to know each other. We'll talk about your learning goals and your hobbies.

This course is designed for learners with at least an intermediate level of Cantonese, or those who can already engage in basic dialogues. The primary focus is on developing fluency and confidence in spoken Cantonese through interactive conversation practice.

- Conversation-Based Learning: Lessons are conducted in a natural, chat-style format to strengthen listening comprehension and pronunciation.  
- Flexible Topics: You may choose discussion themes that interest you, or follow topics provided by the instructor.  
- Multimedia Support: Depending on your needs, supplementary materials such as images, websites, videos, and audio clips may be incorporated. Learners familiar with Google Docs can also benefit from shared resources.  
- Problem-Solving Approach: Beyond conversation practice, the instructor will address specific questions about Cantonese usage, grammar, and cultural nuances.

This applies exclusively to the first trial lesson (60 minutes) as well as certain additional course adjustments.

Trial Lesson and Special Course Adjustments

I will provide, or use articles that you provide, for reading practice and pronunciation correction.  

During the course, learners may read texts from traditional Cantonese teaching materials, ranging from beginner to advanced levels. Alternatively, we can also read different types of articles, such as news reports. Through reading, I will help correct pronunciation and refine the usage of Cantonese vocabulary.  

This course is suitable for learners who can already read Chinese characters, or at least those who can read Jyutping or Yale Romanization.
