During a trial lesson, we'll have the chance to get to know each other, and find out if we're both on the same wavelength :)

This is also a good opportunity to evaluate either your Norwegian or English level, to be better able to tailor future lessons to your needs specifically :)

Note: I usually won't prepare anything in particular for these lessons, so if there's something specific you want us to do, it'd be best if you bring the material yourself - like an article or topic of discussion :)

Reminder: If I feel like it's beneficial, I won't hesitate to suggest the use of books like På Vei or Stein På Stein during the lesson, and provide you with the material, if that's something you're open to or interested in :)

In this course, the structure is very simple when it comes to using "På vei" or "Stein på Stein": usually you'll read a page in the book, and I'll help you out with the flow and pronunciation of certain words if there are any difficulties :)

I'll also explain the meaning of specific words or even paragraphs if it gets too difficult, to give you the ability to fully immerse yourself in the content and learn about Norway :D 

We'll also go over the tasks at the end of each chapter together, and figure out what the answers are :)

I always have a focus on making my students feel comfortable and never pressured in any way, while also giving them challenges sometimes - but only if it's okay with you of course :)

Here's some advice to get the most out of these lessons:

1. Try reading the chapter we're going through before or after our lesson. Try to get a sense of what the chapter is about. 

Write down any questions you might have so we can go through them together.

2. Read Norwegian articles, listen to podcasts or watch TV shows.

To prepare for Norskprøven or Bergenstesten, a different approach might be necessary.

After we've had a lesson together and gotten to know each other a bit better, we'll talk in detail about what the best ways to structure the lessons are.

In short, we'll focus on specific parts of the test during each lesson to simulate what it'll actually be like for you to make you feel confident and prepared.

As an example we might focus on listening exercises one lesson, and questions that are directly related to the test in another.

I have experience with students taking and passing Norskprøven and Bergenstesten, so I assure you you're in good hands :)

Test Preparation (Norskprøven A2-C1) / Textbook (A2-C1) / Homework

Note: This lesson is only for text corrections.

If you want someone to take look at your text in either Norwegian or English and make corrections and give feedback, this lesson offers just that.

I'll take a look at what you've written and send back a correction within a week.

I'll correct one text a week at minimum if it's long and 2 or 3 texts if they're short.

I'll also give explanations for questions you might have, as well as resources that might be helpful based on my corrections.

With the 60-minute lesson, I'll correct around 900 words, which roughly equals two full A4 pages in Word.
