Our first lesson will be the perfect chance both each of us to establish an understanding of your learning goals and my teaching abilities. 

We can think of this as a groundwork for future lessons. Hopefully, if you enjoy it - I will see more of you. If not, I'm sorry to see you go, but part of the learning process is interacting with different speakers, so I understand. 

Unless you wish to jump right into the course material, we can look at this session as 30-minutes of conversational English with occasional corrections. My goal as a teacher is to use the most of the time we have to improve your understanding of the language. 

With the limited time we have, I'd like to learn more about you. I will ask questions about your work, hobbies, education, etc. all dependent on your proficiency level. You can expect one or two pronunciation exercises for beginners, grammar exercises for intermediates and vocabulary exercises for advanced students (if time permits). 

*I am willing to go at whatever speed is necessary to suit your comfort.* 

Also, I welcome questions from you. Perhaps think of a few questions you would like to ask me. If you are a higher level learner, then think about how I might answer them and take note of how my answer aligns with your expectation. 

For those interested in starting course material straight away, let me know what lesson suits you best. I'm happy to focus on a topic of your choosing, such as multitasking, travel, romance or anything else.

If you intend to improve your English. then you have come to the right place. Whether if this is your first lesson or tenth lesson, it's an excellent opportunity to improve your reading and writing skills. 

⭐️ This is a 20-lesson, structured course which was developed from scratch by myself personally. The syllabus is research-backed and supported by modern methodology and pedagogy in the field of Applied Linguistics. Our course will follow a marking scheme and include a range of graded assignments.

📌 Our lesson will be based on a specific topic and include exposure to grammar structures and reading/writing techniques. 

📌 Throughout the lesson, we will find a balance between reading, writing, speaking and listening improvement. This will include practice and production activities. My preference is to work with articles and worksheets.

📌 If you prefer, we can use videos, slideshows or other materials. At the end of the class, we can spend some time focusing on the area that you feel you need the most improvement. For consolidation, I assign homework after every single class which includes writing tasks, speaking assignments and other activities. 

⭐️ Learning with me will give you a comfortable, open and honest environment to improve your English. Many students have told me that I am flexible and understanding. Best of all, I enjoy seeing improvement in my students' ability and I am invested in guaranteeing continual growth. 

⭐️ Also, I like making classes interesting and relevant. If you request it ahead of time, we can focus on a particular topic.

General English (20-Lesson Course) 📖 ✅

Are you preparing for an English examination? If so, this class will be a perfect fit for you. 😃


I have been teaching IELTS preparation for two years. Many of the techniques that we focus on in class will be used in our iTalki sessions. I have taught in the university settings and private institutions. 

⭐️ Before we get started, I'll connect with you to inquire about your aims and goals for IELTS preparation. We can establish a focus area (reading, speaking, listening, writing). 

⭐️ From there we are ready to go. Class will consist mainly of delivering knowledge such as tips and tricks on ways to score well on the exam. I will teach you techniques to use in your focus area, such as:

📌 extension practice for speaking
📌 keyword identification for listening
📌 skimming practice for reading
📌 essay formation for writing

... along with many more exercises depending on your focus area and level.

⭐️I do not intend on eating up time with anything you can do outside of class (unless you want to, of course!). So, we won't spend 30 minutes of me watching you write an essay. 

⭐️ Rather, I will ask you to send me a sample from another class, or a task I have given you as homework. Then, we will go over the paper in class, providing extensive feedback and corrections.

👉🏻 My goal is to use the time we have to fill any gaps and to better prepare you for the examination.

IELTS Test Preparation (10-Lesson Course) 📕✍️

Welcome to my conversational English lesson! 😃

This lesson is perfect for students who want to reinforce the knowledge that they already have of English. Here we will focus on improving your natural speech.

So, how is this class any different from the general lessons?

📌 Well, for starters it is less formal. We will use more talking points and dialogue as opposed to exercises. Further, we'll focus more on expanding your vocabulary instead of exposure to grammar structures and new conjunctions.

📌 If you have ANY grammar-related questions - or questions related to anything - I am happy to help. This is your time, so feel free to use it as you wish.

📌 As per usual, we'll have a topic and focus area. Before class, I will send three topics, each with a link, and you may choose the topic of conversation for the lesson. We'll incorporate idioms, connectors, phrasal verbs, pronunciation techniques and more to improve your conversational English. 

⭐️ Also, every class I give homework. 😃
