The trial lesson is for us to have a chance to get to know each other, see if the chemistry is right, and for you to get a sense of my teaching style. 

I like to spend some time discussing what your goals are, where you're currently at in your language learning journey, what materials you've used so far, and how you prefer to learn. I will also show you the materials I have available, and how we may implement them in our lessons. 

You will get the chance to ask any questions you may have, and let me know what kind of topics are interesting and important to you, so that we can prioritize that as well.

Velkommen! (english below) Dette er leksjonen for deg, uansett om du er ny på språket, eller om du har lært norsk lenge og ønsker å øve på samtale. 

Hvis språket er nytt for deg, vil jeg guide deg gjennom grammatikk, lære deg nye ord, og hjelpe deg med å komme i gang med det grunnleggende. Deretter tar vi det derfra, og jobber utfra hva dine mål er.

Hvis du ikke er ny på språket, og heller ønsker å øve på å snakke, så starter vi der. Jeg tilbyr ofte mine studenter å gi dem et tema på forhånd som vi snakker sammen om i leksjonen. Underveis i leksjonen, vil jeg rette eventuelle feil og komme med tilbakemelding. 

I vårt første møte, vil vi bli kjent med hverandre, og diskutere dine mål. Jeg vil skaffe en forståelse av hvor godt du kan språket allerede, hva motivasjonen din for å lære er og hvordan du lærer best.

Welcome! This is the lesson for you, whether you are new to the language or have been learning Norwegian for a long time and want to practice conversation.

If the language is new to you, I will guide you through grammar, teach you new words, and help you get started with the basics. From there, we will continue based on your goals.

If you are not new to the language and would rather focus on speaking practice, we will start there. I often offer my students a topic in advance that we discuss during the lesson. Throughout the lesson, I will correct any mistakes and provide feedback.

In our first meeting, we will get to know each other and discuss your goals. I will gain an understanding of how well you already know the language, what your motivation for learning is, and how you learn best.
