"Ad Astra per aspera" - "Through difficulties to the stars ". My own personal mantra for language learning. As a student of Mandarin, Italian, Latin & Greek myself, I know how hard it can be and the learning never stops! I specialise in teaching Italian & Mandarin Chinese speaking students, though everyone is welcome in my lessons. 

The dichotomy of language learning is that it can be the greatest joy and biggest pain. 
That is what I am here for. As your teacher getting you through the tough times and cheering you on to the endless rewards that come from knowledge.  

As a Native English speaker and Teacher from England, I can help you- whatever level you may be at. From beginner to advanced. My teaching style is patient and non judgmental though I will offer endless constructive critics to enable you to improve. 

This is about you so please tell me your language goals and what you would like to focus on and I will do my very best to help you reach them. We can focus on causal conversation in which I give you tips to improve. Or go down the academic learning route, focusing on the big three - Speaking, Listening & Grammar. But I will make it fun by using your hobbies and interests to make it feel like less of a slog and make the lessons fun  

Go ahead and book a trial with me. Trust me I know it can be scary to take the plunge but I will do my very best to put you at ease. Whatever happens you will have learnt something from this and that is what is most important. lets work together to level you up on your language journey!

It does what it says on the tin! 

An invaluable lesson - This is preparation for using your English in the real world but in a safe and comfortable non judgmental environment. We can role play here or just chat. If you want to prepare for a job interview or are planning a trip to London lets brush up on your English speaking, there is always room to learn. Trust me I know a few English natives who could do with one of these classes!

My recommendation - Though this lesson can be what you make of it. 
This is a very helpful Lesson for intermediate and Advanced English speakers when used in conjunction with my other - classroom English Lesson . In this way you will be able to hone your English Languages skills with formal lesson first and then take the skills you have learnt from the classroom to practice using them with me in conversation.

Eddies Conversational English

It is with utter joy that I Welcome you to my English Language  Classroom.  

This is the class that you do not get to see behind the scenes at Hogwarts! After all even wizards need to know how to speak their native tongue. 

Please join me in jumping down the rabbit hole and exploring the language of some of the greatest literary writers and poets in History from my personal favourite - J. R. R. Tolkien to Shakespeare and of course Hogwarts's own J. K . Rowling.  I would love to hear about some  of yours. 

In this class we will be breaking down barriers and cracking your personal language nightmares. The big three - Speaking, Listening and everyone's most feared Grammar!  
Though there is no way around it it is handwork -  I wont lie to you. But that does not  mean we can not have fun studying it together. 

If you would like a more tailored or less traditional approach we can look at English through so many lenses, for example the music of the Beatles or Stones, to voyaging on seascape of Turners painting and discussing his style, or if you prefer we can catch a flight with the eagles and our good friend Bilbo. 

I will start by determining what level you are at and work with you on a study plan. The more information you give me the better and the more you share your passions and hobbies the more fun we will have. But have no fear, if you are not sure, a good place to begin is by booking a trial lesson with me and we can have a nice chat over tea with Alice and the Mad Hatter. 

Above all learning is about the pursuit of gaining knowledge and I hope you will give me the chance to do so.
