Welcome to your first class!
This 30-minute trial is a chance for us to get to know each other and explore how I can help you learn Korean.
Although it’s a trial, it’s structured just like a regular 30-minute speaking class.

🔹 What we’ll do:
- Introduce ourselves
- Talk about your Korean learning goals and current level
- Have a short speaking session — we’ll talk about your Korean learning journey: why you started, what inspires you, and where you’d like to go next.
- I’ll give you feedback and we can discuss what kind of class you'd like to continue with — I’ll suggest some options, but you're always welcome to bring your own ideas too!

This is your space, and I want you to feel comfortable from the very beginning.

🗣️ Speaking Class: Choose your style
I believe learning a second language is a life-long journey — so it should be fun and practical!
After all, what’s the point of learning if you can’t use it when you meet a Korean friend?

In this class, you can choose one of the following options:

🔹 Option 1: Free Talking – Talk about your week, your feelings, or anything on your mind. Let’s make casual conversation feel easy and natural.

🔹 Option 2: Topic Discussion – Choose a topic you love (e.g. travel, sports, pets, food), and we’ll explore it together. I often use fresh and engaging materials — like video clips, articles, or journal excerpts — to make learning feel exciting.

🔹 Option 3: ☆Challenge Mode★ (30-min only) – I’ll give you a surprise topic, and you’ll explain it for 20 minutes on your own! Great for fluency and quick thinking.

You’ll get real-time feedback during class and a written summary afterward to help you review.

Writing in Korean can feel tough — but I’m here to make it clearer, easier, and more natural.
This class will help you express yourself confidently in writing, whether you’re preparing for TOPIK or just want to improve your written Korean.

You can choose one of the following options:

🔹 Option 1: TOPIK Writing (Level 3~6)
Practice past & mock test questions and learn how to structure strong answers.
You’ll get detailed proofreading and grammar tips, so you can write with more confidence and accuracy.
If there's a grammar point you find tricky, I’ll give you customized homework for extra practice.

🔹 Option 2: Free Writing Practice
Choose any topic you like — we can write about your thoughts, experiences, or even creative ideas.
You'll share your writing via Google Docs before class, and I’ll provide corrections and helpful feedback.

Celebrate Korean literature with award-winning works by Han Kang, including The 채식주의자(Vegetarian) and 소년이 온다(Human Acts).
We’ll read in the original Korean, and discover the beauty of her language and stories.

Choose from two beautiful and touching collections:

- 언어의 온다(The Temperature of Language): Simple, short sentences with heartfelt illustrations
- 빛과 실(Light and Thread): a collection of essays, unpublished poems, and garden diaries-including her Nobel Prize lecture-that offers a profound reflection on everyday life, existence, and enduring love.

For those who want to expand their vocabulary and cultural awareness, we’ll read current news, interviews, or columns slightly above your level — a great way to learn topic-specific words and expressions.

1️⃣ Full Reading & Discussion
We’ll read aloud from start to finish together. As we go, we’ll pause to share thoughts and dive deeper into topics that speak to you.
→ Recommended for those who want to improve pronunciation or don’t have much reading time alone.

2️⃣ Chapter-by-Chapter Deep Dive
You’ll read each chapter in advance. In class, we’ll focus on difficult expressions, new vocabulary, and discuss parts you found interesting or challenging.
→ Great for learners who want to discuss deeply and build confidence reading on their own.

💬 Class Description
I’m a trained psychological counselor who studied psychology — and I truly love it.
That’s why I deeply enjoy listening to others and sharing thoughts across different perspectives.
I believe that even if we speak different languages, meaningful conversations are always possible.

This class is designed for students who have already built a rapport with me in previous lessons.
It’s a space where we go beyond casual talk, and engage in deeper, more thoughtful conversations about ourselves, others, and the world around us.

Instead of simply practicing grammar or small talk, we explore your thoughts, values, and experiences — in Korean.
