What to expect:
- 5 minutes warm up to introduce ourselves
- Asking you a few questions about your motivations and difficulties
- Answering any question you might have
- 15 minutes of exercises which will help me begin to understand where you feel like a pro and where you feel less confident. (This can vary from person to person).

Depending on your current level, we will alternate between English for explanations, and French for everything else, or speak only in French. 🥖

What to keep in mind:
- I don't teach for language tests, job or academical interviews (seek a Professional Teacher on the platform!)
- I prepare every lesson, including this one, the more info I get the more relevant what I propose will be.

This class is for you.

Let's make ourselves coffee and enjoy a nice talk about an interesting subject.
Don't worry, if you don't feel inspired, I'm professional at keeping the conversation rolling.

A Boost of Fluency:
The best way to speak like a native is to have a conversation with one! In this format I don't cut you in your speech, we talk like friends about a subject, I take notes and give you feedbacks at the end only.

Mixing "Conversation" and "Structured":
If you feel like learning with a structure is more adapted to your needs than complete autonomy, you can ask me to organise your lessons between free conversation and Structured lessons.
What that would look like: 
- 1h or 45 minutes of Structured Class to focus on your needs
- Later in the week or the following week: 30 to 1h conversation class on a related theme.

Welcome to the Structured Class! ⛵️
Made to be accessible from an A1 to a C2 level, we will find the best way to get you to your fluency goal! (Spoiler alert: several ways possible).

I will guide you in your French learning journey with special care, providing notes, materials, feedbacks after your classes and a lesson plan after our 4 first lessons.

THE Methodology:
- First evaluation (4 lessons) : level, needs, interests
- Outcome: Personalized lesson plan with clear goals
- Tools: Conversations, roleplay, reading, quizzes, videos, homework, interactive stories, shadow reading and more
- After every lesson: feedbacks, synthesis, homework/mission for next time

Q&A:
- How many classes should I take? 
1 lesson a week is what I consider to be enough to help you on your learning journey, but if you need a special boost you can request 2 lessons / week. However I don't accept more than 2 lessons/week.

- 1h or 45 minutes?
1h is the "base format" of Structured Classes but 45 minutes might be enough if you take classes late after work or know your that your concentration starts reducing after 40/45 minutes.

- Can I take Structured lessons for tests, job or academical interviews?
Nope, and I advise that you search for a Professional Teacher on the platform who is qualified for it.

Welcome to your Personal/Creative Writing Class! 🏴‍☠️🛶
Yes we're pirates in this one, travelling in the waters of French Writing, a language in itself, but a very beautiful one.

📝 I have written little stories ever since I knew that the alphabet made words that made sentences. My love for French writing makes me very sensitive to rhythms, sentence structures and how descriptions can ignite strong emotions.

This class is for anyone who'd like to focus on learning how to write "well" in French, and spoiler alert: several ways possible.

𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 "𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆" 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 "𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹":
✍️ To write correctly: the work is focused on grammar and spelling (a journey that will take us through European History's influence on language).
🎼 To write "well": I want you to listen to how it sounds, how it feels, it has to be right for your ear first!

The Methodology:
- The first lesson is an assessment of your needs and interests: current level in French, subjects you'd like to write about, a first short writing exercise with immediate feedbacks.
- Every other lesson will follow a logic of: reading a small text/article/quote on a theme or image inspiration, grammar/spelling with historical focus, free OR guided writing, feedbacks and a little chat on how you felt and what we'll do next.
- This class is focused on homework, if we see each other 1/week, I will give you a writing exercise with a limited length, to send 48h before the next lesson so I can correct you and give you feedbacks during the lesson.

You can choose:
- 30 minutes: text length is 500 characters maximum, spaces included.
- 45 minutes: text length is 1000 characters maximum, spaces included.
- 1h: text length is 1800 characters maximum, spaces included.
- 1h30: text length is 2200 characters maximum, spaces included.
