Through this informal discussion class, you'll have the chance to hear from others, learn new study activities, brainstorm review techniques, and build a toolkit of tips to help your language skills practice. Meet your teacher

Ellie Hoffman

I first began teaching at age 13, when I started a violin studio in my home for local students. Since then, I have expanded my scope and experience in teaching, first by leading educational programs at a museum, and then by obtaining a certificate in TESOL. I have continued to work as a violin instructor through fine arts centers and have taken several professional training courses with the Suzuki Association of the Americas music program. In addition, I've worked as a writing coach, providing feedback and instruction on student papers. Finally, last year, I spent 7 months in France as a language assistant, teaching ESL classes on vocabulary, pronunciation, and American culture.
