Listening practice and vocabulary for dining out. A basic lesson for ordering at a restaurant. This is a lesson for intermediate students of around B1 level, B2 learners might find it a bit easier, but still good practice. Ask questions about food and drink to me and your peers to bolster your vocabulary in this area!

After this class, you’ll have learned

After this lesson you should be confident in ordering food and drink at a restaurant and communicating your dietary requirements. A listening exercise will also help to improve your listening skills.

I am CELTA qualified and my course was based mainly around online learning, so online teaching is my focus. I have experience in teaching intermediate students and above. We can use all kinds of materials to learn from, textbooks and coursebooks can offer a good learning structure, but we can also learn from authentic materials such as movies, TV, music, books, poetry, songs, video games and anything else that takes your interest!
