Class description
In this class, we're going to talk about addiction to technology and the differences (if there are any) between "spying" and "surveillance". We'll start by listing the functions of a mobile phone (practising with "for" and "to" as well as the second conditional); then we will discover the world of nomophobia while learning how to paraphrase information and statistics. Afterwards, we will discuss the moral and ethical aspects of spying and whether, in certain cases, it can be justified.
After this class, you’ll have learned
GRAMMAR: to learn how to correctly use "to" + infinitive and "for" + gerund as well as the second conditional
VOCABULARY: to learn about the different methods of surveillance
FLUENCY: to be able to explain new information in your own words; to debate topics related to ethics.
