Class description

A business English class that tests your improvisation skills. We will start with a discussion on how remote work has changed our professional lives (for better or for worse). We will then practise with corporate language to make our statements less aggressive and more formal. Afterwards, we will discuss business terms such as "synergy" and "micromanagement" and debate how useful or effective they are.

After this class, you’ll have learned

GRAMMAR: to practise alternatives to "maybe", by using modals "might" and "may" to describe possibilities VOCABULARY: to learn terms related to a business environment FLUENCY: to improvise with the help of graphs and images in micro-presentations

I have an MA in Hispanic Studies and Linguistics, and I have lived and worked in both the UK and Spain for over four years, teaching English to learners of the language as well as natives.
