In this class we'll have different conversations, in an informal way, about the recent news. The concept is simple : everyone comes to the class with one topic that is in the news in his/her country. You will first start to talk about the news you chose, then the other student (and me!) will also be able to make some comment or ask questions about it. Everyone is free to react or not, but it's good if everyone is bringing a topic to talk about. I don't want to be restrictive about the topic you can choose, just keep in mind that there can be different points of view and sensibilities in the class. Also we're here to speak French, not to argue ! I trust everyone to have responsible behavior :) During the conversation, I'll write the mistake you made with the language (or maybe you won't make any?) and we'll try to correct everything together. In this class you'll have the opportunity to practice your French on many different topics, so you'll get a large amount of vocabulary in various fields. You’ll also develop your confidence because you’ll be speaking to several people in a tolerant and respectful atmosphere. And last but not least, you’ll probably learn about things that are happening in a different country than yours, and that’s always a good thing to keep our mind and view open :)
