Class description

Jump into the complicated world of millennials in this class. We will start with an overview of our own respective generations from the perspective of world events, social relationships, music and world of work. Afterwards we will look at the major stereotypes about millennials and decide which ones are the most common and consider the reasons why. We will then learn how to explain statistics using pie charts while also looking at synonyms for the word "people".

After this class, you’ll have learned

VOCABULARY: you will learn new words and expressions that they can use to describe their generation and the environment they live and work in. GRAMMAR: you will learn how to formulate sentences about statistics avoiding the use of "people" and instead using "the majority", "a substantial percentage",etc. FLUENCY: you will recount your personal experiences as a member of your generation, make comparisons between different generations and explain percentages and statistical information in a confident and efficient way.
