After this class, you’ll have learned

✅ Summarize a news story in 3–5 sentences using key details. ✅ Identify and explain at least 3 new vocabulary words from a news article. ✅ Express opinions about current events using relevant phrases (e.g., "In my opinion…", "I agree because…", "On the other hand…"). ✅ Ask and answer follow-up questions to deepen discussion. ✅ Engage in a conversation about a news topic with increased confidence and fluency.
