Class description
What can you tell about a culture based on a photo? Join the teacher for a discussion analyzing pictures she has taken while traveling in North America, South America, and Europe. In this class you will communicate with other learners, asking questions and commenting on their responses. Together, you will make comparisons between different cultures using structures and vocabulary highlighted at the beginning of the lesson.
After this class, you’ll have learned
In addition to improving interpersonal communication while analyzing culture and making comparisons, this lesson highlights modal verbs (will, would, should, can, could, may, might) to express possibility, probability, ability, necessity and obligation. The vocabulary terms we will focus on are: infer, infrastructure, rural, urban, downside, benefit, to make a living.
