Class description
What cultural differences have you noticed while traveling or interacting with people who are new to your country? What are some things about your country that travelers should know before visiting? Have you ever experienced reverse culture shock? Ask and answer these questions and more in a discussion with others who are interested in exploration and culture.
After this class, you’ll have learned
Improve your interpersonal communication skills, ask and answer questions and comment in a group discussion. We will practice using should/shouldn't/don't have to/can't in addition to the following vocabulary terms: culture shock, reverse culture shock, to make a fool of oneself, to adapt, to freeze, to stutter.
