The book is about how underdogs, misfits and people who face disadvantages in life can achieve great success. It includes stories from the world of medicine, education, business, sport & more. We will read the book over 8 lessons. We will discuss the issues and ideas raised in the book. In the lessons will will: 1. Hold deep and meaningful conversations based around the ideas in the book 2. Study any useful vocabulary and collocations that crop up & practice writing (optional) 3. Try to implement the ideas in the book in our own lives. How It Works: READ: Each week you read the appropriate chapters of the book BEFORE the lesson (Reading schedule available upon booking) THINK: Each week there are questions about each chapter for you to think about and make notes on. We will discuss these questions in the lesson. WRITE: There is also an optional writing task to complete each week. You can submit this to our Google Classroom. SPEAK: Join the lesson and discuss the chapters that we have read. SHARE: Join our online community for interesting videos, deep discussion and extra materials related to the book.
