Class description

One generation owns 51% of the wealth and makes up 20% of the population. The generation starting out owns almost nothing, and may be the first in living memory to end up poorer than their parents. This lesson examines the inheritance that hasn't arrived yet: who is holding the assets, who is locked out, and what it does to a country when an entire generation cannot afford to retire, buy a home, or escape the debts run up by the generation before it. Are young people the new proletariat? *My full italki profile: https://www.italki.com/en/teacher/8425021
