Class description

This lesson looks at the problem of fading motivation for employees in their second year of work. Students will listen to a conversation between two people and read an article on the subject. Exercises focus on vocabulary on the theme of interest and motivation, reading and listening skills and students will have the opportunity to discuss questions related to the topic. PDF will be available after booking and the audio file will be sent just before the start of the lesson.

By the end of this lesson you will have the following: 1. Learned business vocabulary related to being interested or not at work. 2. Considered the positive and negative implications of working at a company too long. 3. Complete a listening task to help understand the vocabulary in the lesson. 4. Talked about the wider consequences of being bored at work. 5. Received feedback during the lesson regarding English level and understanding of the topic.
