Class description

This is a class for children between the ages of 10 and 12, who are comfortable speaking English, but not necessarily fluent. This will be a group discussion and or debate about cats and dogs. Do you have either of these pets? If yes, tell us about your pet, if no, tell us which you would prefer. This is a class to get students using the English they know, and perhaps learning some new vocabulary along the way.

After this class, you’ll have learned

Students will learn the basics of having a debate. You will find a writing frame under teaching materials, please fill it out before class, so that you are prepared. Students will learn how to give their opinion, while respecting the opinion of others.

**I only teach children** Welcome to my profile, my name is Debbie, I am Canadian.

I have enjoyed great success as a teacher, both online, and in local schools. Forming wonderful relationships with children of all ages. I am energetic and enjoy laughing with my students. I believe that if a child enjoys what they are learning, they are much more likely to remember their lesson. This is not to say that my lessons are simply fun and games, learning is paramount. I am professional, always on time, I have never had a teacher no show.
